I have vista installed. I then installed mint. I have space on my drive that I want to install ubuntu 8.10 and also 9.04. If a attempt to install 8.10, will it overwrite the grub from mint? If it does, will it automatically detect that mint is installed and add it to the grub list? And then when I install 9.04 will it do the same? Will it overwrite the other grub but autodetect 8.10, mint, and vista? Or will I have to manually add them? and if I do have to manually add them, how do I do that?
Lastly, I like the graphical Mint bootloader, how can I keep that one there and add 8.10 and 9.04 later? or should I install 8.10, 9.04 and then mint last?
Sorry lots of questions for a curious noob.

Note:
I am installing all of these just because I want to try them out. I have used Windows forever. I loved 2000, was ok with XP and now I hate Vista, so I want to make the move, just seeing what flavor I like best.

Every installation will overwrite existing grub, but it should recognize installed OS and add it to menu list.
