Hello guys... It seems that the steps that I see on the net are quite confusing when installing Ubuntu in a flash drive. Can someone kind enough help me? Include the step by step process and the materials needed (e.g. size of USB stick, etc.) Thanks in advance!;)

The best page for this is here (http://www.pendrivelinux.com/usb-xubuntu-810-install-via-the-usb-creator/). I've put the link for Xubuntu as it will probably work better (and faster) on your USB stick. If you want to find the link for Ubuntu it will be on their website. You also want to make the drive persistent, so that any data is saved in one go rather than on the fly.

Do not need to burn Ubuntu iso file to CD!

- First, download iso file to your hard drives
- Create a virtual machine to boot this iso file , Ubuntu Live Cd will run
- Insert your USB flash drive ( minium 1GB ) into your running Ubuntu Live machine
- Click System > Create a USB Startup disk then follows some steps to finish.
