Call me kuroshi, I'm from Anderson originally but am currently residing in West Lafayette to go to Purdue University.

I've been using ubuntu since dapper drake, and linux since fedora core 3. I'm a fan of linux.

I know I already replied in another thread, but I thought some of the PLUG people might be up for introducing themselves in a purdue thread.

I'm graduating with a Purdue degree in about a month (I go to IUPUI, not West Lafayette though).

YHEHES!!! Fellow boilers! Graduate student here, very new to Ubuntu (been using it for less than 24 hours).

Also in dire need of help: I can't get onto PAL 2.0 no matter what I try! I have Hardy, 8.04, on a Dell Mini 12. I keep on getting the Pal 2.0 instructions connection. Also tried contacting Purdue Linux Users Group, but no one's replying yet.

HELP! VERY DESPERATE! HELP!

Hey, I'm from Anderson originally, too. My wife & I are in Portland, Oregon right now. But we miss our friends back in Indiana. So we're looking to come back there in a month or so.

Click on the "Wireless Network Connection" right next to the power icon in the top right corner, select "Connect to Hidden Wireless Network.." Under Network Name type "PAL2.0" without quotes, Under wireless security, select "WPA & WPA2 ENTERPRISE", under Authentication, select "Protected EAP (PEAP)" for user name, type your Purdue ID and under password type your purdue password. This worked for me! Hope it helps!
