View Full Version : [gnome] Assign a shorcut key to a window of a certain class in Compiz

Hi all,

I know this is possible (at least in part) in Kwin, but I don't know how (if) it's done with Compiz: Basically, I want to assign a key combination, say <super>-w to all windows with the Firefox class in the current workspace. Meaning, if I press <super>-w, it will show me the first firefox window. If I then press <super>-w once more, it will show me the next firefox window, and so on. That way I can bind a few shortcuts to my most used apps: <super>-e for emacs, <super>-w for firefox, <super>-s for gnome-terminal, etc.

Anyone know how I can do this?

Cheers,

David
