New to ubuntu. Couple weeks ago, installed dual boot with windows on laptop. Now comfortable with ubuntu, but not make partition big enough. Also, now that have sense of how works, and have monkeyed around with it, want to start over.

Figure just do reinstall into a single boot. There's no problem with that, right?

No problem at all, that's the best way to do it in my opinion.

Boot from a LiveCD and choose the install option "Use entire disk". That's all there is to it.

As soon as i have time i want to do the same thing as the topic starter.
Question now is what data will i lose if i install a single boot over a dual boot? I guess the NTFS will be lost, but the ext3 won't? And will configuration stay, or do i have to start fresh?
Not that it matters that much, but i do want to know what i'm starting here :p
