I like KDE, but using compiz is fun, the problem is if i use compiz (by install desktop effect in kde), it makes the system unstable, especially when using hot key.
I think the problem is my laptop doesn't have a graphic card (it's a onboard intel GMA X3100 Gfx).
I really really want to use compiz, or something similar, please, any solution???

sorry for my bad english.

May be you can use KDE3 instead of KDE4

Do you mean that you want to run compiz inside Kde4, or that you want to use the desktop effects that are part of Kwin? If it's the later, try looking in kde-forums (http://forum.kde.org/), I know there's been some problems with Intel's GPU performance.
