View Full Version : [ubuntu] Wallpaper changer similar to Wallpaper Changer!

hey all!

i've been using Wallpaper Changer (http://www.wallpaperchanger.de) for windows xp for some years now and i was wondering if there was a similar application for Ubuntu! i have already tried Wallpaper Tray and Wallpapoz but would very much prefer to use something else!

any suggestions?

You could try Desktop Drapes but I have found Wallpaper Tray to work best for me.

Edit -> Package name is drapes.

ops i forgot to add drapes to my 1st post! yes i have already tried and dismissed drapes! but thanks for your replies! :D

any other suggestions?

XML WALL (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=5751005)ahh cool! i did know gnome parsed an xml file to load wallpaper settings! i'll be sure to look into this when i have more time and make an application of my own! probably in C++ or if i'm feeling lazy i'll do it in java :P
