Hi

Matter

I formatted my Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and try to reinstall it, but it seems that something went wrong with partitioning.

When I try to install Ubuntu 8.04 LTS from CD, it throws me in "Busybox" command line and shows couple of errors.

If I try windows 2000 install, it gives me "GRUB error 17". I read from somewhere that GRUB 17 error means computer is trying to read data from harddrive not CD, which needs to be changed.

I already checked that "Boot from CD" is the first choice in BIOS boot up setup.

My question:

How can I open and edit /boot/grub/device.map through Busybox command line?

Thanks in advance for help
