Server Upgrading from 7.10

I have Ubuntu 7.10 on my server.

Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 7.10
Release: 7.10
Codename: gutsy

(Server Edition)



Now this will be the first time I will be upgrading server OS Version, so I have no clue about this yet.

Now all I wanted to ask was how safe is it to upgrade now ? Will some of my servers need to be re-installed ( like powerdns, apache... ) or Is it as simple as Upgrade & Go ?
