Hi all,
I've got 8.10 with netbook-remix packages on my dell mini 9. I have been using gsynaptics to configure the touchpad. I followed the instructions on ubuntumini.com (http://www.ubuntu1501.com/2007/04/configure-synaptic-touchpad-settngs.html) for setting up gsynaptics.
I've got two issues:
1) gsynaptics launches at startup every time, not really a problem, just an annoyance. The settings are left from the last session so I just close the window.
2) After recovering from "suspend" status, the touchpad settings are reset to default. For me this means reopening gsynaptics and re-enabling tapping and resetting the sensitivity.
