My nvidia video drivers (ver. 180.29) stopped to work unexpected on my Ubuntu 8.10 wwithout apparent reason. Tired from troubles I decide that I haven't what to lose and made upgrade to 9.04 beta. After that the problem keep persist. I wanted to login into console and uninstall the broken nvidia driver and use the default open source driver. When I hit ctrl + alt +f2 I can't login. I type my username and password but Ubuntu keep saying me that login is incorrect. Numlock is on. H-e-e-e-l-p me :( :confused:
