Chinese Display problem in Fluxbox

hi all,

when I use Gnome, I can see Chinese on the terminal
but when I change to Fluxbox, it failed

Does anyone know what program Gnome exec to enable the chinese display on the terminal

after such a long time
no one could ever answer this question

myself still couldn't find any solutions to display
Chinese on xterm

but

I can use gnome terminal to do such task
$ gnome-terminal
go to toolbar
Terminal-> Set Character Encoding

I conclude that for now
the display problem has been solved
