Hello,

I am having a tiny problem. I am trying to use both my ethernet and wireless card. I want to use my wireless card to connect ad-hoc and my ethernet card to connect my router.

Now the one problem I am having is when I activate my wireless card via Network manager. Once I do that, and I choose the network to connect to, I no longer have internet access.

When I use the Wireless or Ethernet card individually to connect to the internet, it works great, but when I use both cards at once i.e, when I activate "Enable wireless connection" while using an ethernet cable, I can't get access to the internet regardless of whether or not i am using the wireless card to connect to another computer Ad-hoc or to connect to wireless network?

So it seems Ubuntu is having trouble using both network card at once.

Can anyone help?

I am using Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex.

I'm going to watch this thread as I'm trying to get two simultaneous network connections but with wired connections (two network cards installed).

If I can crack this then I can move away completely from Windows.
