I've searched everywhere and I can't seem to find a decent tutorial that shows how to install madwifi on the macbook pros. Does the wifi card even compatible with madwifi? Also, the only reason I want to use madwifi is for WEP cracking so if there is an alternative to madwifi, that would be fine too.

Thanks for the quick reply.
What's the difference between the two? Also, any suggestions on tutorials for either of them?

it just depends on the chipset. ath5k is for older atheros cards, ath9k is for newer ones.

They are already included in Intrepid and Jaunty.

I do not know if they work for cracking
