hi, i installed gdesklets and i put the starterbar dock on my desktop, i put some softwares there, but the problem is that i dont know how to put a link to a folder in the bar, i tried dragging the folder on the dock, but i only got an error launcher! :confused:

you'll have to try and be a bit clearer than that - what bar? where?

If you're looking for a dock - there are btter alternative than GDesklets such as Gnome Do (with Docky) or Avant-Window-Navigator (AWN).

If you're looking for desktop widgets, again, there are better alternatives to GDesklets such as Screenlets.

can you manually add it? (nautilus /path/to/folder)

Its the gdesklets dock, its called starterbar.

I decided to play around with screenlets again today and I'm really impressed. It has, among other things, a "Places" widget which gives you easy access to folders.

Its nice, but my question is not find a new desklet to put my folder, im just asking how to add folder to the dock that i already have, cause i seen in internet and guys have folder in the same dock than me. :popcorn:
