I have a PC set up with Ubuntu Intrepid that runs as a server, supplying videos etc to my xbox 360. The machine in question has no sound card, and I'm wondering if its possible to setup pulseaudio to output all audio to a network stream instead?

I have a UPNP server running on the machine (x360mediaserve) that will happily take an audio stream URL and serve it to the xbox. What I'm hoping is that I can feed it a stream from pulseaudio and have it serve the audio output from this PC also, so I can run apps such as spotify and listen to the audio on the xbox.

I hope this makes sense, and that somebody has some idea how to go about this - many thanks if you do!

That doesn't seem to be quite what I wanted, and I can't find anything relevant in the tutorials, but thanks anyway...
