Hi. I was wondering if it is possible for me to install ubuntu on an external hard drive with no mbr changing taking place and to still boot it? Would I be able to just select "boot from usb" and it would load without grub or anything else.
I was also wondering where the most up to date tutorial for installing on an external hard drive would be. I have found one or two but I don't know where exacly I should search.
Also this might be a silly question but if I install it using one computer will I be able to boot up ubutu on any computer that can boot from usb?
