Update manager show 0Kb - but lots to dowload

I have 2 machines running Intrepid - both show 0kb in the update manager as total to download, but clearly from all the packages needed there is a lot more to download (amounts vary of course).

Otherwise all installations go fine - but why is the summary showing 0kb?

I checked lunachpad - couldn't find anything - is it me, or do others have the same problem and I should be logging a bug?

I hope someone can shed light on this because I am getting the same message but when I try to install it, it shows a message but says,

"E: The package index files are corrupted. No Filename: field for package tzdata."

I have had this for two days already.
