For my 64-bit system with 8GB of RAM, do I still need a swap partition if I don't max out the memory usage? I would think that it's not needed, but I would like to be sure that it doesn't affect the system performance.
If I would like my system to be able to sleep or hibernate, what is the minimum RAM requirement in my case? thanks!
