Hello All,

I have a strange issue. I'm using Kubuntu 8.10 with the default themes.

Everything seems to work ok :) but if I open say a web browser window (Firefox) and then minimise it I can no longer maximise it. In fact I can't even find the browser anywhere.

If it was closed that would be fine but I checked the running processes and the browser is still running.

This happens with anything I minimise, so to close them I must kill processes. Which is a pain.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Troy

sounds like you accidentally removed your taskbar, right click the panel and put it back.

Thanks, that brought everything onto the panel again :)

However what good it the pager if when u minimise something it does not minimise in the pager window. I'm used to in minimising in the pager window.

Have I configured my pager wrong?

Thanks,
Troy

Have I configured my pager wrong?

i have know idea, the pagers used to switch desktops, it should be fine out of the box, no need to mess with it at all.
you can try right click> remove, then add it back.

when you say pager your talking about the little square boxes right? see pic (i don't use kubuntu, but they pretty much look the same on everything)

Exactly :)

I give it a try but I'll put this as solved to help some else.

Thanks much,
