Hello Everyone,

I've been lurking the boards for awhile and since I just recently dumped XP for Ubuntu, I thought I'd join in all the fun.

I'm 26 and have been building my own computers since I was in junior high w/ parents financial support in the early days, of course. Started w/ Win. 98 SE and toured the house of horrors from there. When I could not get XP to recognize a newly installed wireless card, that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Other interests include: MMA, Drag Racing + modding my 2005 Ford F-150 & 1984 Ford Mustang GT T-Top,

Don't know what else to add,

Welcome to the forums.
Don't be scared to ask questions when they arise, or to have a go at answering questions when you are able.

.

Drag racing is done at either a 1/8 mile or 1/4 mile track. My truck is in the mid 14's for the 1/4\\:D/ and the stang is only in the 11's.

Truck weighs in at 5100 lbs. w/ me in it, so 14's is a significant accomplishment.

Stang is under 3000, so it should be quicker

Mankind is the only species that could ever use its most cutting-edge land transportation for the sole purpose of driving in a circle 200 times in a row.
