In the case that GTN is modified to use a custom mapper, I will write mapper plugins for a few of the main emulators and release the source code. With the code, anyone with the skill will be able to add the mapper support to the rest of the emulators.

This guy made a version of Grand Theft Auto III for the Nintendo!
And it's Open Source!

thats really cool, he built his own higher level assembler for the project.

Though in this agreement, the word "source" is not mentioned anywhere. So it's bloody "freeware", which isn't much 'Ubuntu/other distributions' friendly.
