I have been trying out Ubuntu 8.10 using VirtualBox and now would like to use Wubi to try it out without the performance hit. My current drive setup is as follows:
FakeRAID (RAID 1) (465 GB)
Partition 1 = 400 GB, NTFS, Windows XP Home, Boot
Partition 2 = 65~ GB, NTFS, Windows 7 Beta
IDE (232 GB)
Partition 1 = 232 GB, NTFS, No OS (I use it to share files between the two Windows Installs)
My questions are:
Can Wubi work on one of the FakeRAID partitions?
Can it work if I install to the IDE drive?
If both work, does anyone have suggestions on which alternative would be best?
Thanks in advance!
