with a gigabyte GA K8NF-9 Motherboard. I have been using a single jack set of speakers off the front speaker port on the motherboard. However I just bought a Logitech 5 speaker + sub woofer surround sound system for Pc, but cannot get any of the other jack points to put out sound.

In windows I could configure each of the 6 connections, (1 for mic, the rest for audio out) using the motherboard utility. Of course that is not able to be used with Ubuntu. So does anyone know a work around, or software that will enable me to get all the speakers working?

I have plugged each set of speakers into the central one to make sure that the actual speaker works, and all is well there. So it is definately the driver side that is causing the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
