kde 4.2 start menu on right hand side....

Hi all,

Just freshly installed Kubuntu 8.10

It came with Kde 4.1x or something, let it upgrade, reboot, and then activated Proposed and Unsupported updates, downloaded and installed kde 4.2, rebooted and now I have an issue with KDE 4.2

I can get in ok but the 'start/kicker' button is missing from lower left hand side.

All that is there is the Dolphin folder icon.

So I right clicked, add widget, choose one of the 'Application Launcher' icons and this adds to taskbar ok....but at far right hand corner!

For the life of me I cannot get the Application Launcher icon to left hand side!

Any ideas?

you should then see http://www.notmart.org/images/newpanelcontroller.png similar.

you can drag the icons, be careful !
