View Full Version : [ubuntu] Knoppix desktop effects, possible in Ubuntu?

I just had to use the newest Knoppix distro to alter some files on a HD. When I was using it, I noticed that a "Compiz Fusion" splash screen started, and (from what i am assuming) is what was accounting for all of the flashy desktop effects. I have compiz installed, but i have no clue how to activate these effects (such as the screens "exploding" when closing, or how the menus wiggle when they are selected)

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

thank you so much! I didn't know where the config settings were (or how in depth) and this is just going to have to take some tweaking! Thanks again!

you definitely have a lot of settings to explore in "compiz configuration manager"
