A quick scenario for the cafe...
Say I had Ubuntu on my computer and wireless was not activated because I hadn't installed the firmware or ndiswrapper or whatever, i.e. it doesn't work out of the box. Then say I installed Windows in a virtual machine and installed the correct wireless drivers for that. Would wireless in Windows work, or does it rely on Ubuntu having wireless enabled? What if Ubuntu wireless worked but dropped packets, would Windows also drop packets? What about other hardware?
