Hi

Is there any way to know the list of available versions ?
Particularly using apt-get/adept/synaptic
I looked up man page of apt-get but did not find anything

Thanks

Do you want to do this via a GUI or via a command line?

Do you want a list of all the packages available, or do you want to see the version number of the package, for instance the version number of OpenOffice in the standard Intrepid Ibex repository?

This is the location of the APT manual online:

http://www.debian.org/doc/user-manuals#apt-howto
