Dial 595-Escape by In Flames

Last week it was The Endless Feed by Dark Tranquillity
Next week it will probably by Colony by In Flames.

March 25th, 2009, 03:15 AM
666 the number of the beast - March 28th 2009, Iron Maiden and Sepultura live, where? Buenos Aires - Argentina. \m/ metal rules

March 25th, 2009, 03:18 AM
I don't think I have a favorite song, and even if I had one, it wouldn't be from any of my favorite band, I think.

The closest I've had to a favorite song was "Where The Wild Roses Grow" by Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue. It sends chills down my spine.

Current favorite is Lilium (intro of Elfen Lied):

My favorite song changes every couple weeks. Right now it's Human After All - Daft Punk.

March 25th, 2009, 03:23 AM
Mine changes quite often too but at the moment it is Aces High by Iron Maiden especially when Churchill's Speech precedes it. I know I'm not going to see a better song live than Aces High!

to the OP: I finally get to see metallica tonight :D

March 25th, 2009, 03:35 AM
"The One and Only" by Chesney Hawkes would be my all-time favorite song.

March 25th, 2009, 03:36 AM
Today it's White man in Hammersmith Palais by the Clash.

Tomorrow, it'll be something else.

Here's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJrfNsxlq1Y) an entertaining, albeit dirty, song.

Wouldn't call it my favorite, though.

Maria Mena - Your Glasses

I think it's one of her strongest songs. She needs to sing more like she does in this song. The sad thing is that she doesn't. She always falls back on that quiet, whispery voice, which isn't bad per se. I just think she has a powerful voice but doesn't use it to her full advantage.

March 25th, 2009, 11:45 AM
right now?

March 25th, 2009, 11:48 AM
Changes every week.

Right now it is:

Do you have the Live After Death DVD?? If not, get hold of a copy. It's their finest hour. I saw them last year on the Somewhere Back In Time tour. They played a lot of the same songs, and 25 years on they are still the most amazing live band in the world.

This redneck zombie Elvis looking doofus just repeatedly raped my childhood. May he suffer the unkindness of the world for the brutality he bestoved a classic.

Now I am not against all covers of this, Concrete Blonde e.g. made a very decent version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBlFxMQ0UnE). Sanne Salomonsen also did a nice jazzy version. Even The Corrs very untraditional cover (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5rVgxmekeM) is quite catchy.
