Is their an informational website available that has step-by-step, in-depth articles on installing graphics cards, new hardware, and other things? If not, how do you go about installing a 6800 GeForce on fresh install of Ubuntu 8.04?

Also, I am looking at getting an i7 or AM3 system. What is the maximum system requirements for 32bit and 64 bit Ubuntu? If I go i7 I will have 12GB of RAM, and AM3 8GB RAM. Both with 3 640GB 32mb Cache Seagate HD's RAID 0.
