Hey everyone. I have been trying to get more active within the Ubuntu community, as I'm sure all of you have since you are on this forum and such. But as it seems, Minnesota team seems to be pretty quiet and I would love to get things going and see some activity going. Who would all be interested? Maybe get some new meetings and who knows. As the other thread stated, we are pretty spread out, but I know I make the trip down to St. Paul almost every other day, so count me in if there is any activity down there. Hope to hear from you guys/gals.

Hey man. I'm new to the MN section of this website. It'd be great if we could get some MN Ubuntu stuff going. I'm a big time Ubuntu fan and especially interested in getting Xandros off my EEE. Can't wait for 9.04!

Participate

We are a pretty new team, so the biggest thing now is attracting new members to get things off the ground. Please start by adding yourself to the Members list below and applying for membership in our team on Launchpad at http://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-minnesota. Swing by #ubuntu-us-mn on Freenode's IRC servers to introduce yourself and meet some other members, and once the mailing list comes online, subscribe to that to keep current with group events, ask and answer support questions, and interact with your fellow team members!

I would swing by #ubuntu-us-mn to start. We hope to see you around!
