One of my computers with Ubuntu 8.04 has suddenly quit responding to its keyboard.
I re-booted and it will respond to the keyboard to enter the user name and password but as soon as the desktop appears, the keyboard no longer works.
The problem started when I was using Virtual Windows XP on it and was using the shift key to select multiple items in a Windows application. I was able to complete my work in windows but when I stopped using Virtual Box, I can no longer use the keyboard.
Does anyone have a suggested fix for this?
