"show desktop" button on dual monitors

Right now I have two monitors, each with a gnome panel along the bottom. Both panels have a show desktop button. When either is clicked, all windows on both monitors are minimized.

Is there a way to get the show desktop button to minimize only the windows on its own monitor?
