I have a PITA laptop that is not completely supported under 64bit. Under 32bit, no problems.

Is it possible to dual boot 32 & 64 bit OS's on one pc?

I tinkered with it once prior and got close. UUID's were a pain, some problem in boot partion that I care not to recall.

Add to that the need to boot Windows as well (thanks to company for this necessity).

If you set up a triple boot its very possible, though I am not sure if Grub would be that helpful in this scenario (I never tried it)

That appears to be where I stumbled prior. Getting Grub to handle two similarly named kernels, and the fun of sharing partitons with UUID's that differ between builds.

I could get the later install to boot, windows booted, but the odd Ubuntu would not or was troublesome.

Has anyone had luck in accomplishing this?
