Hello there,

Complete linux nooob here, I would like ultimately run a handful of windows programs on my notebook. I'm using the latest distro of ubuntu. I hear tell that Wine is the way to do that. I downloaded wine from WineHQ (again, latest version) and i unpacked it, but I have no idea how to run it, install it, or run programs in it.

Ill appreciate any help.
