The verbose boot goes by way too fast for me to read, so it makes it difficult to figure out what is wrong.
It isn't the ram, because I am currently on my backup boot of windows on the same box.
I am on a p4p800-vm motherboard with 4 sticks of 512 and a 1.4 ghz processor (yes, it is lame) with a pny gforce 8400 gs and 2 maxtor 200 gb hard drives.
In a previous bios incarnation, the bios interfered with hard drive identification for the particular hard drives that I have, but I have no idea if it has anything to do with now.
Do I need to add some boot parameter, or what?

I couldn't find anything even close to my problem.
sorry for the hassle
