Hi,
I'm trying to run 64-bit Ubuntu 8.10 from the LiveCD on the following machine:
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-US2H
CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 720
RAM: 2 x 2GB of Kingston 800 HyperX
(No dedicated video card, just the integrated HD3200 on the 780G chipset)
It couldn't run and gives the following error:
"...
Your BIOS doesn't leave a aperture memory hole
Please enable the IOMMU option in the BIOS setup
This costs you 64 MB of RAM"
Hope someone can help solve this as I'm really want to run the 64-bit version for video editing.
Thanks much
