I have a belkin wireless g adapter model number fsd7050b and its the 3000 version.
Anyway, yesterday I plugged it in and it worked no problems, but after a reboot today I cant connect to anything nor scan for any networks, its like it just disappeared! How do I get it back?

I followed the guide here> http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=400236 and now when I go up to the network connections icon under wireless networks it says 'device is unmanaged' hope that helps.
