I'm new to Linux. I wanted to try out Ubuntu using Wubi. Running Wubi, everything seem OK. I got the bootup screen on restart with option for either XP Media Center, or Ubuntu. However, it stuck on the next screen: "Busybox1/10.2...help..built-in...shell(ash)", etc. I was then looking at (initramfs)_" where it stayed for as long as I waited, at least an hour.
I had selected the program to install on my D: drive which is is an existing partition.
My computer:
I have a Sony Pentium-4, 3.2gHz, 1.5g RAM, and a two partition drive. OS is MS XP Media Center 2002, svc pack 2.

Any help on how to get running with Ubuntu? I prefer to run it as a program rather than with a dedicated additonal partition.
