OK... Issue 1. I'm totally new to unbuntu, just installed unbuntu 8.10 on a Gateway mx3230and I noticed that the icons on the right of my panel bar are not visible. They are extended beyond the edge of my screen. That led me to my next problem. 2. I tried to change the screen resolution on my laptop to see the icons, but it turns to nothing but video noise on any resolution selection other than the default that the program starts up with. Anyone have a solution to this??? Thank you !
