Dear Friends, I am kind of stuck with some problem and I am looking for some kind of advice... I hope you guys can suggest me something...

My Case: I have a computer with 3 internal drives (500GB, 350GB. 350GB) I was running Vista 64 bit and Ubuntu Hardy 64 bit few months ago.. my pc was working great.. than due to some problem in vista I have to make a fresh install of both OS. And now I am installing Ubuntu but my system is only going to Vista... I don't really know why. I tried to install in different ways but no success

Case 1:
500GB HDD with 3 partitions (250-for vista, 210-Ubuntu,15-swap) I installed vista 64 bit (works fine) than I installed Ubuntu 8.4 64 bit. installation went fine and when I restarted my machine it directly went to vista...whereas it was supposed to show me grub with 2 os's.

Case 2:
500GB HDD with 3 partitions (210-ubuntu,15-swap, 250 -Free space)
I just installed Ubuntu to check whats going on.. The installation went fine and when I restated my computer I got an error saying

"Grub Loading Please wait .....
error 22"

First thought that it might have some issue with hard drive, but I got same results after switching 3 hard drives...

At this point I don't really know what to do ... So please suggest me something and let me know if you guys have seen this issue before..

Thanks,
GM

Does googling the error message give you any info?
