View Full Version : Ubuntu Usb stick help?

Okay, i just got a usb stick for my birthday today (actually my birthday is tomorrow) and i booted from an ubuntu cd and installed ubuntu on my usb stick, although, my computer is refusing to boot from it, i have the correct BIOS and it boots usb sticks, but there must be some sort of trick.... can anyone help me?

Have you actually set it to use USB as the first boot device? On an Acer you can press F12 to set the boot device order.

yea, but that boots from the livecd, basicly a livecd on a flash drive
