Hi,

I just formatted my HD - can't take windows crashing on me anymore!
I want to install Ubuntu on a fresh HD.

Would it be right to assume that this guide - just with an Ubuntu .iso instead of the windows files would be the right way to create an Ubuntu boot-disc?

Thanks a lot in advance

Cheers
rosjak

if you have the iso file. and a program to burn the iso file to disk, you have the boot disk for ubuntu. if you have already formatted the HD, you need a live boot disk, that has a burning program. and you need to have a live cd that has the program that can burn the iso, but yes, the iso file is the ubuntu boot cd, it needs to be burned to the cd. if not, you can convert the iso to boot from a flash drive.
