Well im Dual booting 8.10 and XP. I installed Ubuntu from Booting up into the CD and installing from there. everything installed right but now i cant seem to get logged in. I get to the Log in screen, enter my username and Pass and then after that an Orange screen just comes up and it doesnt do anything.
This is getting annoying, last night i installed it over windows but i messed up and did have the Swap partition. and last night it did the same thing as today.
Now i have a XP Partition, Swap, Root, and then Home in that order.
Ive got a Dell Inspiron 1100, with
·intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller
·Intel Celeron 2.30GHz
·1 gig of memory
Please help me, im not sure what i need to do since the thing boots to the log in screen?
