It seems that Google created a page where javascript demos are held, just to show how chrome's V8 engine works over the other browsers engines and (I hope) push the market into optimizing even better javascript experience.
http://www.chromeexperiments.com/

The demo I like most is:
http://deanm.github.com/pre3d/monster.html

WARNING: it could get really slow on anything that's not Chrome browser.

P.S: the site is not new, but I just found it and I think it's a great idea to let the browsers battle over javascript and rendering performance, in the end the users and web developers (mostly web designers) would appreciate it.

Quite impressive.
Works fine in Safari by the way.

All I can say is that it isn't smooth in firefox 3.0.7.

More than you can say about IE.

As I said in the Slashdot article about this, I think this may finally be an open source competitor to Flash.

Yeah, I let it sit for about two minutes and it worked fine throughout.
