Create Files with QDevelop?

Hello,

I'm running QDevelop 0.26 on Ubuntu 8.10. After I created a new (empty) project, I'ld like to add files via the 'Project->Add New Item' function. But after I give the filename, I get the error message 'Unable to create file'.
Is this a bug? Anybody has a workaround?
