hey guys.
as u all know XP becomes slower on some machines as u go on with multiple softwares' installation, so my case is no different.

anyhow, i needa reinstall my Windows on my C Drive with full fresh installation, but i dont want to hurt anythng of ubuntu.

please guide me about what things i shud be careful about.

though whenever i tried to re install windows, and re started my system with XP cd in the CD Drive, it said that the computer is already in the process of upgrade and later says it cant continue installing windows, maybe some eror, but i dont think tht this is a good place to disscuss this, so i'll find its solution on my own.

but pls guide me about what should i be careful about!
Thnks in advance!

Did you install ubuntu to its own partition or is it installed inside windows (wubi)? If Ubuntu is installed to its own partition you will need to reinstall grub (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=224351)after you have installed windows otherwise it will only boot into windows.
