Installing Ubuntu 8.10 server on Virtual PC 2007

Any body aware, how to install Ubuntu 8.10 Server on Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 sp1 ?

There are reports of success (http://arcanecode.wordpress.com/2008/11/10/installing-ubuntu-810-under-microsoft-virtual-pc-2007/), though apparently sometimes you have to fiddle with vga=791 noreplace-paravirt.

If you don't have to use Virtual PC for other reasons, you might have an easier time doing it under Sun's virtualbox (http://www.virtualbox.org/).

Me, I run my microsoft OS's as guests of Linux hosts, using either vmware or virtualbox.
