Where's system settings? (KDE 4.1)

I just did a fresh install of KDE 4.1. Trying to access System Settings yields just a "blank" window. Is there something extra I have to install, or some repo I'm missing? Is it dependent on something in 3.5.10 that got the axe? I'm posting from a work computer at the moment; will update with more specific system specs in a few hours.

I think you may be looking for "configure desktop" I think it is in the favorites tab by default. If not just enter "configure desktop" in the search bar at the top of kmenu

if it appears to be missing from the menu do alt+f2 then type system settings, hit enter
