i've installed NetBeans 6.5.1 into my home directory. i'm using Ubuntu Intrepid and the Sun JVM.
i'm unable to use the integrated debugger with any C++ code. when i start the debugger, the IDE presents me with a blank terminal window and a pop-up containing the following message: "There was an error creating the child process for this terminal." i can dismiss both windows but the IDE remains in a frozen state.
Eclipse, on the other hand, works fine, so i'm pretty sure gdb is working.
anyone else run into this problem? any help would be greatly appreciated.
